Ariana strutted her stuff in a glittery black crop top and a tiny flared mini skirt, complete with knee high boots and pointy cat ears, while Nicki showed off her curves in tight-fitting patterned leggings and a seriously sparkly black bralet.
The Starships singer raised eyebrows when she got up close and personal with a male backing dancer and gyrated around on the stage as she performed Anaconda.
Taylor Swift kicked off the festival with a performance of her track We Are Never Getting Back Together before launching into hits from her last album 22.

Swift change: Taylor swapped her demure look for a sparkly pink number

Dressed in a sparkly pink crop top and mini skirt, Taylor wrapped up her set with her latest single Shake It Off , accompanied by plenty energetic shimmying and dancing saxophone players.
Jennifer Lawrence was spotted walking around backstage at the two-day festival, wearing a beaded crop top (yes, another midriff-baring outfit) and black skinny jeans.
The actress attended the event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas to support her new boyfriend Chris Martin who performed an energetic set with his band, Coldplay.

A star: The Coldplay frontman led down on stage to take a selfie with his fans

They played hits that included Viva La Vida and Sky Full of Stars, with Chris even found time to stop to take a stage selfie with enthusiastic audience members.
Bastille, Jason Derulo, Chris Brown and Usher were also on hand to entertain the crowds, and the Good Kisser singer went the extra mile to give the audience night to remember by, er, setting his shoes on fire.
Try not to scare us, Usher, it's meant to be a fun event!
Tonight's show will include performances from 5 Seconds of Summer, One Direction, Lorde and Ed Sheeran.
Wait, let's just look at that booty love one more time from Nicki..
